Ella Oksava (born 2007) is studying piano at The Helsinki Conservatory of Music with Antti Hotti as her teacher. Ella has been a student of the Youth piano academy since 2021.
Ella has been awarded in several music competitions: Tapiola Piano Competitions in 2021, 2019, 2017 and 2015, Leevi Madetoja Piano Competitions in 2025, 2022 and 2018, Helsinki Steinway Festival in 2016, Ilmari Hannikainen chamber music competition in 2023 and Juvenalia chamber music competition in 2024. She has also participated in the following competitions: Stockholms International Music Competition in 2019, Helsinki Steinway Festival in 2018, Tartu Young Musician in 2017. She was one of the finalists of the Tampere piano competition 2025.
Ella has performed as a soloist with Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, Oulu Sinfonia and Camerata Vihti -orchestra. She has performed at Kauniaisten musiikkijuhlat, Riihimäen Kesäkonsertit, Kamarikesä festival and Mänttä music festival. Ella is also an active chamber musician. In addition, Ella has participated in many master classes.
In masterclasses, Ella has been taught by, among others, Angela Hewitt, Tuija Hakkila, Matti Raekallio, Severin von Eckardstein, and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet. In addition to the periods of the Youth Piano Academy, she has participated in masterclasses organized by Soiva Kesä in Raudaskylä and the Summer Academy in Nurmes.
