We will announce upcoming application deadlines well in advance on this website and on the Youth Piano Academy Finland's social media channels.

Admission to the Youth Piano Academy Finland requires exceptional ability to handle your own instrument and motivation to study professionally.

The application process is in two stages. Typically, it includes an audition, an assimilation task and an interview. We will publish more detailed application instructions on this website when we announce the next application deadline. Read what the application process was like in spring 2023 (in Finnish).

You can also request information on how to apply by email. The teachers in charge of the Youth Piano Academy Finland are responsible for the selection of students and the application process.

Admission is granted for one year at a time. During this period, students are required to commit themselves to the activities of the Youth Piano Academy Finland. Students are also charged a moderate tuition fee. Read more about tuition fees and other study policies.

Students of the Sibelius Junior Academy of the University of the Arts are not eligible to apply to the Youth Piano Academy Finland.
